Increase Business Potential

INCREASE BUSINESS POTENTIAL

We are working on researching new opportunities that will increase the trade volume and investments of our WTBDC World Trade Business Development Council members.

We strive to crt common trading platforms among our members with the opportunities that will arise. In this context, there are Business Councils within the mechanism we have established.

These councils are divided into 3 categories among themselves.

1-) Special Purpose Business Councils

The World Turkish Business Council (2007), which is under the umbrella of Special Purpose Business Councils, gathers Turkish business people and entrepreneurs residing abroad under a common roof.

On the other hand, the Foreign Investments Business Council (2013) aims to understand the foreign investment dynamics of the Turkish private sector, to respond to the needs that arise during the foreign investment process, and to cooperate with the public at a high level.

Established with the aim of providing coordination and aims to be the leading institutional structure in this field in Turkey.

2-) Bilateral Business Councils

Bilateral Business Councils are established within the framework of mutually signed cooperation agreements with the addressee institutions and aim to develop and deepen bilateral economic relations with the relevant cntries.

Bilateral Business Councils regularly organize 'Joint Business Council Meetings' every year with the cnterpart institutions representing the private sector of the other cntry.

3-) Sectoral Business Councils

Under the umbrella of WTBDC, it is aimed to transfer the knowledge gained through Bilateral Business Councils to sector-oriented studies and to increase the benefit on the vertical plane, with the result of the decision taken by the WTBDC Board of Directors.

Established Sectoral Business Councils aim to gather qualified information about the sector in a single point and to plan development plans with the joint participation of public, private sector and non-governmental organizations.
